MICROBLADING FAIL: IT’S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD

Ok. So you just had the lady at the nail salon do your brows. Or you found a smoking deal on Groupon for a new set of eyebrows that you just couldn’t pass up. And now, every inch of your body cringes when you look at yourself in the mirror because your eyebrows aren’t what you expected them to be. It might be uneven, crooked, a solid look versus a hand-drawn-hair stroke-look, the wrong tone or colour that doesn’t match your hair or the job might’ve just faded too quickly – whatever it is that you’re worried about…don’t!

I’m writing this blog article to let you know that botched eyebrows can be fixed! It’s not the end of the world, but you will need to take the time to let the initial job heal before you can redo the process to  have them corrected.

Because colour is still resurfacing and the results are still changing, new brows need a minimum of 4 weeks time before we can evaluate them. Once the colour has come back and the brows are all healed, there may be a few areas where there are patches with no colour. That is why it is important to get that touch-up 4-6 weeks after the first procedure.

So when is it time to find a new technician for corrective work?

When you’re truly unhappy with your healed results and when you know deep down inside that you don’t trust the original technician for the complimentary touch up.

But of course, if you’re looking for another opinion because you’re unsure, we’re always here for you for a professional consultation too  So remember, there is hope for a failed microblading situation!
